en s\u00edntoma, y la historia de un proyecto de vida que da pie a la Asociaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de la Permacultura (ADP), entidad responsable de la elaboraci\u00f3n de este manual de Permacultura.<\/p>\n
Empecemos con la historia de la an\u00e9cdota. El 10 de noviembre de 2016 la ADP recibe un correo electr\u00f3nico urgente con el asunto \u201cPropuesta de colaboraci\u00f3n Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS\u201d. El correo lo firma Laura Mart\u00ednez Dom\u00ednguez, del Departamento de Proyectos de la Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS y dice as\u00ed:<\/p>\n
Buenos d\u00edas:<\/em><\/p>\n Soy Laura Mart\u00ednez, gestor de proyectos de Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS. He dejado un mensaje en vuestro contestador pero me ha parecido interesante que tuvierais la informaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n por escrito y conocer el motivo de mi llamada.<\/em><\/p>\n Somos una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro que trabajamos para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas con enfermedad mental grave y prolongada. Llevamos trabajando desde 1994 y tenemos centros en varias provincias de Castilla y Le\u00f3n (Toro, Zamora, Valladolid, Pe\u00f1afiel, Benavente y una red de pisos tutelados y equipos de apoyo social comunitario en m\u00e1s provincias de la comunidad). Contamos con un departamento de proyectos, del cual formo parte, cuya misi\u00f3n es buscar financiaci\u00f3n para nuestras actividades (somos una fundaci\u00f3n privada) y facilitar nuevas actividades, sobre todo formativas, a nuestros usuarios (con la vista puesta en su recuperaci\u00f3n y plena integraci\u00f3n). Esta financiaci\u00f3n la buscamos principalmente en Europa a trav\u00e9s de nuestra participaci\u00f3n en proyectos europeos. Por eso precisamente es por lo que contacto con vosotros.<\/em><\/p>\n Estamos preparando una propuesta de proyecto para la convocatoria Erasmus+ basada en la permacultura con el fin de crear una gu\u00eda formativa para formar en esta disciplina a personas con enfermedad mental. Hemos visto que desde vuestra Asociaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de la Permacultura hab\u00e9is aplicado la permacultura como terapia y est\u00e1bamos interesados en comentar con vosotros la experiencia y proponeros que particip\u00e9is con nosotros como socios en este proyecto europeo. Hace poco hemos podido lanzar una l\u00ednea de horticultura ecol\u00f3gica gracias tambi\u00e9n a otro proyecto europeo, el proyecto HORGANIC, pero nos gustar\u00eda ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 y conocer el mundo de la permacultura y ver si tendr\u00eda alg\u00fan valor a\u00f1adido a la hora de trabajar con personas con enfermedad mental. Tambi\u00e9n colaboramos con la escuela de ingenier\u00eda agr\u00edcola INEA y su proyecto de huertos urbanos. Espero que nuestra propuesta os resulte interesante, quedo a la espera de vuestra respuesta.<\/em><\/p>\n Un cordial saludo,<\/em><\/p>\n Laura Mart\u00ednez Dom\u00ednguez – Departamento de Proyectos de la Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS<\/em><\/p>\n Cinco meses m\u00e1s tarde, el 27 de marzo de 2017, la propuesta del proyecto PERMIND se presenta en el marco de la Acci\u00f3n Clave 2 \u2013 Acciones Estrat\u00e9gicas en el sector de Educaci\u00f3n de Personas Adultas (KA2014) del programa europeo Erasmus+ bajo el tipo Desarrollo de Innovaci\u00f3n. Un proyecto integrado por cinco socios: la mencionada Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS como socio principal, la eslovena SENT (Slovenian Association for Mental Health), la griega Society of Social Psychiatry & Mental Health, la sueca Changemaker y la Asociaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de la Permacultura.<\/p>\n Cuatro meses despu\u00e9s, el 25 de julio, el proyecto es aprobado. La primera reuni\u00f3n del proyecto tiene lugar el 25 y 26 de octubre de ese a\u00f1o en la sede de la ADP, Finca El Mato Tinto (Tacoronte, Tenerife). Un d\u00eda antes de la reuni\u00f3n le hacemos a Laura Mart\u00ednez una pregunta que se hab\u00eda quedado en el tintero: \u00bfc\u00f3mo la Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS se hab\u00eda enterado de la existencia de la ADP? Laura, de formaci\u00f3n ingeniera agr\u00f3noma, nos dice que durante su etapa universitaria hab\u00eda escuchado el t\u00e9rmino Permacultura en alg\u00fan momento, y que despu\u00e9s de haber trabajado en un proyecto sobre horticultura ecol\u00f3gica como herramienta terap\u00e9utica en la Fundaci\u00f3n INTRAS quer\u00eda indagar sobre el potencial rehabilitador de la Permacultura para la salud mental. Con ese fin introduce en los buscadores de internet \u201csalud mental permacultura\u201d, y en la primera hoja de resultados identifica a la Asociaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de la Permacultura. A partir de ese momento entra en contacto con la asociaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n Esta es la historia de la an\u00e9cdota. Una an\u00e9cdota que termina convirti\u00e9ndose en s\u00edntoma, en una se\u00f1al de algo que ya est\u00e1 sucediendo: el de una Permacultura aplicada en la recuperaci\u00f3n de las personas con enfermedad mental que compartimos en esta gu\u00eda formativa a partir de la experiencia de la ADP.<\/p>\n Pasemos ahora a la segunda historia: la historia de un proyecto de vida que da pie a la constituci\u00f3n de la Asociaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de la Permacultura. Una historia que pretende servir de tarjeta de presentaci\u00f3n de la experiencia formativa de la ADP y de la de transferencia del conocimiento que representa la redacci\u00f3n de la Gu\u00eda Formativa PERMIND. La historia la presentamos describiendo pinceladas de esa actividad de aprendizaje.<\/p>\n Desde 2002 la ADP mantiene una amplia actividad educativa en la Finca El Mato Tinto con diferentes \u00e1mbitos de aprendizaje: la primera experiencia fue precisamente sobre terapia de salud mental con formaci\u00f3n en inserci\u00f3n pre-laboral y laboral en el proyecto Centro Especial de Empleo Finca El Mato Permacultura (CEE-FEMP), aspecto que se aborda en la Unidad Did\u00e1ctica I por su relevancia con los objetivos de esta gu\u00eda formativa para formar en la disciplina de la Permacultura a personas con enfermedad mental.<\/p>\n Desde ese momento hasta hoy \u2013agosto 2019\u2013 se han llevado a cabo diferentes actividades formativas en educaci\u00f3n primaria, secundaria, formaci\u00f3n profesional y universitaria, actividades formativas de extensionismo con las administraciones p\u00fablicas, de campesino a campesino, y de conocimiento horizontal campesino\u2194experto, en las que se muestra a la Permacultura como un ejercicio de observaci\u00f3n de la din\u00e1mica de los ecosistemas naturales para dise\u00f1ar sistemas productivos, que respondan a las necesidades humanas sin degradar a nuestro entorno natural.<\/p>\n A la hora de sistematizar y elaborar la Gu\u00eda Formativa PERMIND nos hemos apoyado en cuatro actividades formativas desarrolladas en la finca a lo largo de los \u00faltimos 17 a\u00f1os:<\/p>\n – El mencionado Centro Especial de Empleo Finca El Mato Permacultura (2002 \u2013 2013), una empresa social el Huerto\u201d (2011 \u2013 hasta la actualidad, 2019). Un proyecto realizado en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Concejal\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n del Ayuntamiento de Tacoronte, municipio donde est\u00e1 radicada la ADP y su sede, la Finca El Mato Tinto (FEMT), y en el que ha colaborado la Universidad de La Laguna. La direcci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica del proyecto ha sido llevada por Juan Castro de Paz, colaborador de la ADP y profesor universitario. El proyecto pretende potenciar el desarrollo de los Huertos Escolares de todos los Centros Educativos del Municipio mediante tres actividades principales: 1) Un curso de formaci\u00f3n en la finca para los responsables de los Huertos Escolares; 2) La visita de un grupo de estudiantes de cada centro educativo, con su profesorado, a la Finca El Mato Tinto, donde realizan una serie de actividades programadas relacionadas con la Permacultura (visita a la granja, actividades de siembra y plantaci\u00f3n, observaci\u00f3n de invertebrados y microorganismos con lupa bifocal, observaci\u00f3n del sistema de depuraci\u00f3n natural de aguas residuales, interacci\u00f3n con los animales de la granja, etc.) (Foto Int.2); y 3) Un seguimiento y asesoramiento \u201cin situ\u201d de los huertos de los centros escolares por parte del personal de la ADP.<\/p>\n La finalidad del seguimiento y asesoramiento es comprobar el grado de desarrollo de la aplicaci\u00f3n de las t\u00e9cnicas de la Permacultura en los huertos escolares, asesorar en la ejecuci\u00f3n de las mismas, responder a las dudas planteadas por los responsables educativos de los huertos escolares y atender a las demandas formuladas para la mejora del proyecto. como lo demuestran las evaluaciones an\u00f3nimas positivas de los estudiantes de cada curso. Estudiantes de perfiles profesionales, situaciones sociales y edades de lo m\u00e1s variado.<\/p>\n Un indicador de la aceptaci\u00f3n de esta actividad formativa, y por tanto del potencial formativo de la ADP y su finca El Mato Tinto, se refleja en las respuestas dadas por el estudiantado en la \u00faltima edici\u00f3n del curso a la pregunta \u00bfC\u00f3mo valorar\u00edas el papel de la finca El Mato Tinto como lugar de realizaci\u00f3n de los cursos?<\/em><\/p>\n – Proyecto LASOS (fase 2014 \u2013 16). El proyecto de la ADP \u201cCEE Finca El Mato Permacultura\u201d es calificado como Buena Pr\u00e1ctica por el Programa<\/em> de las Naciones Unidas<\/em> para los Asentamientos Humanos<\/em> (ONU<\/em>–HABITAT<\/em>) en la edici\u00f3n de 2012 (Foto Int.5). proyecto<\/em><\/p>\n Para el desarrollo de este proyecto se tom\u00f3 como caso piloto, como fuente de inspiraci\u00f3n, la experiencia de la Finca El Mato Tinto, sede de la ADP, asociaci\u00f3n declarada de utilidad p\u00fablica, al ser una experiencia de referencia, con una clara orientaci\u00f3n de extensi\u00f3n en el \u00e1mbito de la recuperaci\u00f3n y dise\u00f1o de actividades agroecol\u00f3gicas y sociales sostenibles.<\/p>\n El proyecto ha sido un espacio de intercambio de experiencias e informaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del saber hacer y recursos de la ADP, mediante acciones formativas in situ, de extensi\u00f3n, de investigaci\u00f3n y de divulgaci\u00f3n, con el fin de aprender de forma compartida y transversal sobre casos reales a fin de orientar l\u00edneas de actuaci\u00f3n concertada de mayor alcance.<\/p>\n En la estructura de las acciones abordadas en el proyecto figuraba como elemento central los talleres de visualizaci\u00f3n de opciones a partir
